Passed
As of 7:54 Monday afternoon my father-in-law passed away. He was quite a man and quite a character. One who lived life to it's fullest despite the consequences, one who lived foolishly, without abandon and to his fullest. It may not have always been in his own best interests (or his health's) but he was a man who lived life "his "way through his eyes, his actions, and his decisions. On some level we as people have to understand the value of these people in our lives whether we know them or not. We need to recognize the contribution made my men who live a life without abandon, without regret and without compromise.
We need the mad men, the crazy thinkers, the seekers and those who feel they have it all figured out. We need each and every beautiful cantankerous person to ensure the delicate balance that life is made of.
Not too serious, not too funny, not too secretive and not too open. . . a life worth living is a life worth understanding. Embrace each moments of life good or bad with love and vitality, get to know everyone, ask questions, make friends, have a drink, live a little, and experience what you can to the limits that frighten you. . .for only then will you ever realize what a life spent was worth.
